NCADD coordinates with community entities such as hospitals, social workers, jail and prison social workers, MAT providers to enroll pregnant women with opioid addiction in our Healthy Connections for Moms To Be Program. The program offers many services, case management to assist with their needs including transporting client to medical and MAT appointments, peer support to offer support and compassion, housing, vocational services, group, individual and family counseling, trauma groups, and Pychiatric Nurse for assessments including Postpartum Depression assessment and medication management. The goal is to involve the woman in services to decrease the affects on the fetus and provide hope for a healthy life for the family. Involves with NAS Task Force to increase awareness and develop best practices to address this deadly disease.
